DUNCAN DHU

It is 40 years since the debut of one of the most important bands in Spanish musical history, Duncan Dhu, and Es Jardí will be one of the stops on the tour celebrating this great anniversary. 

Formed in 1984 in San Sebastián, the band featured the voices and guitars of Mikel Erentxun and Diego Vasallo, along with Juan Ramón Viles on drums. Their debut album, Through Scottish Lands (1985), immediately captured the attention of the public and critics, laying the foundations for a sound that combined elements of rockabilly and folk and stood out for its nostalgic and evocative lyrics. Mikel Erentxun hits the road with his band (Ruben Caballero guitar, Mikel Azpiroz, keyboards, Fernando Neira, bass, Karlos Arancegi, drums) to celebrate a legacy of classics, with songs from the Por tierra escocesas albums to El duel, in a night that promises to be magical in Es Jardí.
