TRUENO

The young Argentine rapper, born and raised in the neighborhood of La Boca (Buenos Aires), is part of the new wave of artists with their own vision of the immediate meaning of rap at a regional level. After shaking things up at Mallorca Live Festival in 2022, Trueno will return to the island on July 31 as part of the Es Jardí Festival lineup with El Último Baile (2024), his third studio album, listed as one of the best of the year by prestigious media like NPR, Rolling Stone and Billboard.

Trueno took his first steps in freestyle battles, being crowned champion in 2019 in two of the most important competitions: Red Bull Batalla de Gallos and Freestyle Master Series. In 2020 he released his first album, Atrevido – featuring names such as Nicki Nicole and Bizarrap in ‘Mamichula’ – and was followed by Bien o mal (2022), which included one of his biggest hits, ‘Dance crip’, which took him on tour through Latin America, Mexico, Europe and the United States and awarded him the coveted Gardel de Oro award. His latest work has been followed by collaborations with Feid, Marshmello and Bad Gyal, participating on her most recent release, ‘Angelito’.
