2025 marked the 20th anniversary of the release of Canciones para el tiempo y la distancia, Iván Ferreiro’s first solo album. This significant anniversary prompted the Galician artist to reflect on a lifetime dedicated to music: 12 studio albums, hundreds of concerts, and countless songs that have shaped the history of Spanish music. He looked back on a life that began as the unmistakable voice of Los Piratas and has continued uninterrupted for 35 years, leaving behind an immense songbook.

Iván Ferreiro looks back, but not with excessive nostalgia. He’s celebrating over three decades of faces, smiles, cities, studios, and stages—and above all, songs—with his “Hoy x Ayer” tour, which brings him to Mallorca on July 24th as part of the Es Jardí lineup. For this celebration, he’s joined by the band that has accompanied him in recent years, offering a different kind of live performance: more intimate, more focused on his voice and the essence of his iconic repertoire, both solo and with Los Piratas. Songs like “Turnedo,” “El equilibrio es imposible,” and “Años 80” are amongst the highlights.
