INDIA MARTÍNEZ

India Martínez was still a child when she won her first ‘cante jondo’ festivals, which she entered backed by her guitar and music theory studies, and she had already become a girl when she opened her eyes to pop. Despite her youth, India is already a veteran of Spanish music, with her eight albums, her gold and platinum records and her recognition in the most prestigious awards, including several Latin Grammy nominations. An artist with a capital A who will join us this summer at Es Jardí.

After debuting at the age of 17 with Azulejos de lunares (2004), an eminently racial album, India began the journey towards new music, searching and experimenting. Along the way, awards, recognitions and collaborations with names like Abel Pintos, Enrique Iglesias, David Bisbal or Franco de Vita, amongst many others. With her latest work, Nuestro mundo (2022), India takes the stage again and will bring the ‘Vuestro mundo’ tour to Mallorca to share her world, our world, with her.
